I enrolled my daughters in Ju Jitsu with Steven’s Academy of Defense about six months ago, and it has been an incredible experience for them! They absolutely love it. The class focuses on engaging defense techniques, which not only teaches them valuable skills but also boosts their confidence significantly. The instructors are knowledgeable and create a supportive environment that encourages the kids to challenge themselves while having fun. It's been amazing to see their progress and enthusiasm grow with each session. Highly recommend this class for any young aspiring martial artists!
Stevens Defense Academy is a great family run training center. They do an excellent job with keeping the kid’s classes fun, safe, and applicable to real life situations. And the adult classes are great for anyone. It doesn’t matter if it’s your first time or you have ranked in another martial art, you can learn at your level, speed, and ability

Stevens defense academy is great for not only kids but for the family as a whole. They are very much family-oriented and they take great attention to make sure that you were properly learning the correct way to execute your moves without you or anyone else getting hurt in class they also offer private lessons. And I would definitely recommend the bully proof class for kids as well as the junior grappler for teenagers. The combat class is a lot of fun as well and for those who have daughters whether they be teenagers or a little older I would definitely suggest I'm trying out the women's empowerment class.
I love Stevens Defense academy, me and my sister have been taking women’s empowered and they have a great way of explaining each and every move they teach you and the importance of it in real life situations, I feel like it has better prepared me for defending myself properly from others in the future.

I’ve been training at Stevens Defense Academy for about a year and a half now, and it’s been nothing but a great experience. As a beginner, I felt welcomed right away—everyone’s very friendly and always willing to help. It’s got a really friendly, family vibe—I’ve always felt comfortable bringing my kids, and they’ve had a good time. The classes are fun, the energy is positive, and it’s been an great way for all of us to stay active and learn something new. Whether you're looking to train seriously or just have a good time while learning, this place makes it easy to stick with it.
Steven’s Defense Academy is a fantastic family-oriented place for anyone of any age to learn Ju Jitsu. My daughters absolutely love it! They’re not only learning how to defend themselves but also gaining a significant boost in their confidence. They love earning their strips and can’t waite to earn their next belt! Not only are the instructors at Stevens Defense Academy knowledgeable, but they go far beyond what is normal/expected to help their students reach their goals. SDA has an amazing atmosphere where everyone is willing to help each other to improve, and they work well with individuals of all ages, experience levels, and fitness levels.

My whole family absolutely loves Steven’s Defense Academy! 4/6 of us are in the various classes, Little Champs, Jr. Grapplers, and Combatives. They also offer a women’s only self defense class, which I was previously in and absolutely loved! There is a little toy area for little ones to play in while older kids or parents are doing their class. The instructors go above and beyond. They will always take extra time to help you if you need it. They also create a very friendly, warm, and welcoming environment. SDA makes you feel like you’re part of the family, all while teaching great Gracie Jiu Jitsu self defense techniques.
A great self-defense class where they take the time to properly show you the techniques and explain things and answer any and all questions that you have. very much family-oriented and a great way to introduce kids to Martial arts as well as teens and adults if you have kids/teens that need or would like an extracurricular I definitely recommend. they also have a women's empowerment class that are great for any women and girls. Combat classes are available as well for all adults.

Great people to work with. The style of training is step by step based and doesn't just throw you in unprepared. There's usually other women training in the co-ed class, so if you're hesitant about that aspect you should feel comfortable. They also have a training dummy if you're uncomfortable working with another person. The women only class has a lot of valuable techniques to help you be wise on the street.
You couldn't find a better self-defense program than is taught at Steven's Defense Academy, and you couldn't find a better learning environment that the instructors cultivate here.
